Summer is shouting all over Join the Farm’s growing grounds! Our tomatillos look beautiful with their flowering green husks and our different varieties of heirloom tomatoes are heavy with flowers. Cucumber and summer squash plants are blooming along with our chile and bell peppers! Eggplants and basil are thriving. Green, purple and yellow wax beans, sugar snap peas, and edamame are bright spots in our field and your summer kitchen. We’ve discovered a special trick to keep the corn worms out of our summer corn! We’ll also be sweetening summer with watermelons, cantaloupes, and other fun melon varieties. This summer will be ripe and delicious with summer favorites and our year-round offerings of spinach, romaine lettuce, greens of various kinds, carrots, radishes, cabbage, broccoli and herbs!
